To the youths who listen to music let me say that in my opinion lyrics must not be listened to with the idea that this is reality but rather that this is sombodies daydream which they are writing and bringing to music.

The lyrical language of music is in fact a fantasy similar to a story and that is where it must be left, in the mind. Not to be acted upon as a role modle of life but a fantasy which may cause us to smile and go on with our normal real day to day activities.

The story of a gangsta and his life style must not be used as the ideal but considered as a antiheroric story with an impression of life which though presented brilliantly is twisted and should not be emulated but seen as a life lesson played out by someone's  experience that an intelligent young man does not have to relive in his own life.

Pop culture does not have to demonstrate that being aggressive and pot smoking is hip. One can create ones own pop culture one can create ones own modern dream of happiness and clean outgoing fun without the mind altering effects of drugs.

Any young person can creat his own cool by being confident and beleiving in him or herself.By being able to resist temptations that pull you down thats being cool and strong by giving those friends the boot who wish to pull you into negativity is being(tough and cool) an awesome feeling and is hip.

Temporary loneliness will come when you eliminate negative people from your life.I simple mean they will still be your friends but with limitations.  We will continue this exploration at anotherr time.

Stay cool Cammie.

I dont beleive in chastising our leaders but I beleive in following them. However I pray for good leaders that have all the integrity that i believe in. Howverve I do wonder if the reformation of the welfare program has created a society of misguided youths. How do I get to this assumption When I first moved to Florida the welfare program was alive and well. People were able to stay home with there children and even though they were poor they raised there children well the product of this welfare asistance programm created stable young people. Mom was home and they were cared for, they took there books, they attended college ad they made mom proud. Since the program has been scraped now we find increase in youth violence and gang activities. I hope I am wrong I do blame Bill Clinton for rolling back this programm and making life hard for Some.
