my experiences fighting hunger

When the hungersite alerted me that someone dies every three minutes from hunger Igot sort of interested.

I searched my mind and the experiences trapped in it to find out what we could do together to slow down the process.

Decided that though I had an empty bank account I did learn things quickly and that part of my experience was in teaching literacy. On this basis I tackled computers for the first time at the tender age of fifty eight ,

I was going to produce an e learning program which shunted lots of cash into those empty mouths.

Unfortunately I mentioned the lots of cash part and things went pearshaped.

A cottage industry started wherever I was studying and my computer material tended to get raided on the general principle that it would be an effort to do the work yourself and that any person who was sufficiently a fruitcake to care about the starving deserved it anyway.

I even found one fellow student with admirable initiative recruited another specialist literacy teacher by the simple expedient of making her his mistress(he was on the dole).Together they started a project with a Canadian University,

One TAFE I was at actually got together a consortium of teachers and started it as a general project. Later they locked all my notes and plans in an office and were unable to remember where the key was or that security surveillance etc existed so that I was forced to leave everything with them overnight.

Another private college also started a e-learning literacy program and kept accidentally locking me out and recruited a paid literacy consultant. Another wiped my machine and gave me the CD I was supposed to have cut with the course in a state that did not work etc. Such is the lure of cash.

Eventually I decided to put up a free website teaching English

anyway. I have always loathed the detailed anal retentive aspect of the web as a media(when you are making things

But I thought at least I could get that out to people who could not afford tuition and anyway I have always felt a bit guilty about how much one is supposed to charge for teaching English  and sympathetic with those who even in this country have tried to bum freebies off me or get me at cost price.

At least I thought literacy in English= opportunity in many countries as English is the ligua franca of business.

For the ensuing period I have perservered, I have spent every penny I have and most of my free time on this project and put up with scorching hostility and downright attempts tsabotage me and courses which insisted on teaching me nothing that I wanted to know.

s the arbitary maliciousness a hostility which I have faced the general fate of a do gooder ?.Capricious bullying and general undermining seem to be the essence of my experience .

Is this the common attitude to anyone trying to help i would like to know.

Could someone enlighten me?

Anyway I come to you with a quiet desperation . Can someone please tell me if they have had the same sort of experiences
